Where the classic piña colada smoothie cocktail uses pineapple juice, coconut cream, pineapple pieces, and golden rum, this recipe swaps the pineapple for strawberries.
So if you are not a pineapple lover like me but still love coconut milk, then this may become your go-to cocktail!
Since this easy cocktail recipe is a beautiful color, you’ll want to show it off so make sure to put in a clear glass.
A hurricane glass, milkshake glass, or even margarita glass would work.
This strawberry piña colada is nice and cold and uses frozen strawberries instead of ice cubes. You can find bags of frozen strawberries at local grocery stores in the frozen fruit aisle, but you can always lay a bunch of fresh strawberries on a cookie sheet and pop them in the freezer to make your own (find out more about freezing strawberries here)!
Then all you’ll need is a can of cream of coconut, rum, and a blender. Such simple ingredients to add to your shopping list, right??!!
